Center of Excellence for Water

The Center of Excellence for Water has partnering universities in Egypt and the United States of America, partners in the private and public sector; along with the American University in Cairo, the implementing agency of the US-AID grant.

Vision: Be the hub for integration of all efforts related to Water Research and Development in Egypt.

Mission: Catalyze long-term improvement in Egypt’s water resources management and support the government to face water challenges by improving its innovative applied research and education enterprise and preparing a generation of graduates and entrepreneurs to be change agents that stimulate economic growth.
