CUAHSI Water Science Exchange: Water in Working Landscapes
November 12 - November 14
NOVEMBER 12 – 14, 2026
Location: University of Missouri
Join CUAHSI at the University of Missouri for the first-ever CUAHSI Water Science Exchange! This two-and-a-half day gathering will bring together water science researchers for skill-building workshops, field trips, and science poster and presentation opportunities.
The Water Science Exchange is designed to build skills, facilitate knowledge exchange, and spark new collaborations across career stages and institutions. We’re especially excited to welcome students and early-career researchers and encourage poster submissions from undergraduate and graduate students.
The Exchange will feature workshops and presentations led by CUAHSI staff, water science community members, and partner organizations, including:
-
Skill-building workshops on topics such as data best practices, open science methodology, collaborative science skills, and other water science topics.
-
Presentations from local researchers and practitioners on regional topics.
-
Hands-on training on CUAHSI’s tools and cyberinfrastructure for data management, research, and learning.
-
Opportunities to learn more about contributing to and participating in CUAHSI’s virtual education programs, such as CUAHSI Virtual University and HydroLearn.
-
Plus, ample opportunities to connect with colleagues across water science disciplines, launch new collaborations, and strengthen existing networks.
