WRSM Meeting & Social

Our Spring WRSM Meeting & Social will be Tuesday December 3rd at 5pm in Coll 235. This will count as one of the three experiential requirements needed to complete the certificate, so if you haven’t been to one of these before and can make it, please do come!
During this meeting, you’ll learn a little more about the WRSM Certificate and application process, have a chance to ask us questions you might have about completing the certificate, and we’ll have a short presentation from the WSU A&WMA Student Chapter.
The WSU A&WMA Student Chapter participated in the annual PNWIS Environmental Challenge. For this challenge, they prepared and presented a solution for a fictional Montana town faced with increased flooding due to climate change, and the resulting water contamination from a nearby roadway construction project. A primary component of this challenge involved effectively managing the town’s water resources, and developing long-term solutions for stormwater management.
