Understanding sustainability from unique perspectives, mining groundwater in a transboundary system.

Jon Turk is a hydrogeologist with Aspect Consulting and has recently collaborated with WSU on the Columbia Basin Supply and Demand Forecast for Washington’s legislature. Jon has been in the environmental consulting industry for over 20 years, and manages Aspect’s Olympia office and leads Aspect’s groundwater modeling studio.  He has worked on water resources projects throughout the US and abroad, and has recently been engaged in a major agricultural development project driven by Egypt’s national food sovereignty initiatives.
